The 24th Annual Toys in the Sun Run was held December 11, 2011 and despite the Florida winter weather was another great Biker Event for the Children. Many thousands of dollars and toys was collected to help this Christmas Season. Proceeds from the event go to the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood and James Jr. Fund, Inc. Donated toys are distributed to needy children in South Florida.

BikerChicks4U wants to thank the Clubs, Bikers, Vendors, Bands and Law Enforcement who helped to make this event successful and to all the people that braved the rain to attend. At least this year it wasn't cold!

Thirty-thousand Bikes roared into action Sunday during the 24th Annual Christmas Toys in the Sun Run where the event started at the Mardi Gras Casino in Hallandale Beach and ended at Markham Park, the bikers were greeted with live music, a huge motorcycle show, over 100 vendors, an international food court, cold beer, and soft drinks. There was also an open car and truck show which was dubbed South Florida’s “Most Unique Winter Car Show”.
