The Hogs ran wild through the Carolina's for the annual S.C. Hog Rally, held Oct. 10-12 2002.  After six years on the coast they returned to the upstate to enjoy the perfect fall climate for riding.  Fall riding in South Carolina is the envy of the world, so it was only fit to hold this years rally at the Embassy Suits in Greenville South Carolina.

 The festivities kicked off Thursday with the Harley-Davidson Poker Run, Rally Merchandise Sale, Bike Show and Field Events, viewing of the Miller Lite #2 NASCAR show, Miller Lite H-D show bike, and a  Kick Start Party with the "Hog Band." The weekend ended with a parade to the closing ceremonies held downtown at Fall for Greenville, the up state's largest street festival featuring the culinary delights of over 100 of Greenville's finest restaurants.

 The South Carolina chapter of Harley-Davidson Owners Group expected 1,000 to 1,200 people to attend its state rally being held for the first time in Greenville S.C.  HOG was established in 1983 by Harley-Davidson and now has more than 65,000 members worldwide.

 If you have never experience the fall colors and a scenic ride through the Carolina's you must put it on your to do list. There is nothing like southern hospitality and good country cooking  to warm the soul.  Until next time.
