Patty McGee bought Archie's in 1994 and has had many offers to sell but has always refused. You have to understand Archie's is right across the street from the great Atlantic Ocean so it is prime property, And in Florida every land dealer wants nothing more that to build another condo or yuppie ass restaurant on the ocean. The beach in Ft. Pierce isn't built up as much as in other areas but its getting there, but having a Biker Bar sitting right in the middle of every thing probably doesn't site well with some of the City higher up's. So Patty has refused all offers. Patty has done a lot of work to Archie's in the past year.

 As most know on Friday Sept 3, 04 Hurricane Frances hit South Florida. Ft Pierce was her target and was hit hard. Patty didn't go home she rode the Hurricane out right inside Archie's. You have to realize Patty's a hard bitch but with the old preverbal heart of gold. Now Archie's was built very well and only sustained a little damage and some leaks. Then 3 weeks later Hurricane Jeanne came, Jeanne was stronger and more powerful. And again Ft Pierce was her target. Patty again was going to ride it out at Archie's but her family wouldn't let her this time. When Jeanne pasted, Archie's was still there but there was more damage.

 Now we're not here to ask for donations or anything like that but to let you know that the CITY of FT. PIERCE would like nothing better than to get their hands on Archie's so they condemned Archie's for being structurally unsound and of course Patty fought it. She brought in Structural Engineers and they could not find anything unsound anywhere in the building. So Archie's will be open in the next week or 2 Watch here to find out the date. What we would like is for you to show your support for Archie's and take a ride up there and enjoy the Grand Opening. There will be a band or 2 and lots of bikes and bitches to check out.
